Coors Light and LinkNYC (as part of a citywide initiative to turn 7,500 phone booths into tech hubs in New York) launched a beacon campaign that made LinkNYC kiosks shazamable. 

In partnership with Shazam, we create localized mobile playlists for different neighborhoods in New York City. The playlists were based on the music most popular in each neighborhood, as determined by Shazam data.

THE IMPACT

  • Shazam app was downloaded over 10K times during the campaign period.

  • LinkNYC kiosks generated over 1M impressions.

  • Over 100K social media interactions.

  • Overall, the campaign was a successful example of using mobile technology to create a personalized and relevant ad experience for consumers.
